this is a field recording from my recent trip to south korea. on a rainy november morning, i took the bus from my countryside accommodation to the city of andong. it was just me, some very sweet elderly locals who joined along the way, the bus driver and his radio. the vibes were immaculate, so i hit record... - a precious memory that i wanted to share.

His latest release ‘Poetry of the Vanished Territories’ is an audiovisual exploration of central and southern Ukraine's landscapes, capturing memories of fading places that linger between what was and what remains. Using open source data and field recordings from locations, he blends fragments of reality, nature and memory.

For this feature, the mix drifts through the off-season of life, a time suspended between endings and awakenings. Melancholic, organic textures echo the hush of retreat, only to dissolve into the warm pulse of slow, luminous dub. To clean, to breathe.
