The mix sounds really clean and spacious. Musically it's nicely energetic, but also rather too repetitive, imo.

some sidechain compression could've made it a bit punchier, but a nice track nonetheless

these sounds are good, but if you lower the levels of the arps and bring the bass up a bit, the mix would sound more pleasing. Sounds like youre having an issue with mastering here. My advice becuase ive struggled with this is to lower all those arps and leads and stuff by like another 5 to 10 db. Then you can add a maximizing limiter on the master and set that down to -6 db threshold. this would bring up the bass and balance out those top end sounds.

I enjoyed the track, I think musically it holds my interest and the arrangement is good! There does seem to be something off with the mix, the bass feel wide and seems to have some phasing issue, you can check correlation in the track with Voxengo Span etc. It's definitely worth putting your track in a playlist and comparing with some past OSC winners to check the perceived volume

What does the title/pic mean? 
I have had many dreams throughout my life about finding hidden doors that lead to magical places. The picture is of a abandoned stairway in a house I lived in for a few years in college. Leads to the backside of a refrigerator. I had dreams about that house, that there were secret floors burrowed back into the hillside, etc. And at one point years later I couldn't remember if this abandoned stairway really was there or I just dreamed it.

Anyway making this triggered another of that type of dream.

Final, remixed submission for OSC 197. Idea for this track was partially inspired by Carl Craig's "Home Entertainment" off of his classic Detroit techno album Landcruising, but then I decided to add drums and it became a very different beast. Hope y'all like it!
