I like the sounds especially the drums. The composition is a bit busy, but fits well together.

I like this rushed feeling on this! The snare at first seems to be a bit loud but once it’s starting to roll it fits the track a lot better. A bit raw but cuts through, tightens the groove and brings energy to the whole thing along with the fast paced synth lines traveling around my speakers.

This sounds very nice and transparent. Which relates to the issue other have expressed regarding the snare drum: it detracts from this pleasant clear transparency.  In such cases, any snare design should leave room for that. Or so I believe. Same for bass design.

The snare is kind of overwhelming - especially when it's playing bits that would normally be accents as opposed to driving the track forward.

It's nice to have a break but the snare would have been more effective on it's entrance if it started lower and worked it's way up to full level.

pretty nice rhythms and sounds, & nice snare sound to my ears. i would have enjoyed a bit more definition and punch in the mix somehow, and more variation or development if possible, wanted more...

I was thinking that this energetic build up would fit great also in a happy hardcore production, also the filtered mid-bass

This month, it was "2RuleSynth" by tugrulakyuz. 2RuleSynth was the only synth used across multiple instances, including all drums. Only stock-effects and perpetually-free effects were used to process them and the master. Other usual rules apply: no samples, paid effects, or self-modulating effects.

Here's my entry for the OSC #200 challenge. A few people in our OSC Discord responded enthusiastically when I said I was planning to make a contemporary hippie piece. A promise is a promise. Dr Bob immediately sent me live recordings of his band from the good old days. But with my background, with Zebralette and the OSC rules, I can't quite match that. But don't worry, I've tried to capture the spirit of the Flower Power generation which was great fun.
