The EP opens with the blistering breaks of Asteroids, with beats that hit your speakers like a meteoric impact. Interfields takes the listener into gentler territory with serene musical ebbs and flows before Melodi takes the atmospherics and twists them into the future. The final track keeps the futuristic atmospherics in full swing but with a delightful and nostalgic nod to the classic sounds of yesteryear. We hope MsDos returns to Omni again soon with more of his magical sounds.

Perspective:R returns once more with more 90's inspired atmospheric sounds. The EP begins with the blissful sounds of 'Little Things' and 'Space Beacon' where delicate pads wash over oldskool breakbeats before the title track 'Yesteryear' transports the listener back to the halcyon days of early atmospheric drum and bass with its joyous marriage of beats and melodics. Label owner Eschaton takes on the remix duties for the final track wher he reimagines the previously released 'Docking Bay '94' where he twists the sounds into a future narrative. Perspective:R is proving to be quite prolific so Omni expect much more from him very soon.
