Toronto-based 22-year-old Giuliana Mormile (she/they) has been making rapid-fire, unapologetic anthems as Kicksie since 2018 but her vision has never been as realized as it is on their new album, SLOUCH.

Out now from Counter Intuitive Records, Slouch has its own kind of kinetic energy, a kaleidoscope of all the many moods and attitudes that make Kicksie such a special band. Kicksie's warm, incisive brand of electro-tinged emo-pop has evolved and blossomed while still orbiting around Giuliana’s base layers of brazen honesty and melodic magic tricks. The project is entirely self-produced by Mormile, too.
