That’s you is a story about that particular kind of person that you are always unsure about. It is one of uncertainty and confusion.  Of anticipating the inevitable end but not jumping off before the crash. Attempting to paint over the ugly but recognizing its true form nonetheless.

Playground is a song I wrote on swings in my childhood neighbourhood. I wanted to capture the details of that moment and set about recording sounds near my home. As well as, this feeling of wanting something bigger but not being willing to let go of the extraordinary mundane life I possessed. Sacrifice, bravery, leaping with nothing but hope and an all consuming anemoia. Do I look back, or do I leave you behind?
