Middle Of Insouciance

Fay(tr)/fault; A fault is a fracture or zone of fractures between two blocks of rock. Faults allow the blocks to move relative to each other. This movement may occur rapidly, in the form of an earthquake - or may occur slowly, in the form of creep. Most faults produce repeated displacements over geologic time.
The aim of this piece is mainly create polyphonic texture with a solo instrument. The main material has explored in the piece with it’s inharmonicity and the textural and rhythmical aspect of it’s granular quality.

deep in the slake of my slither-pit mind,

the imaginary world that grew from our love,
sleeps in the deep dreaming of the above,
cold and indifferent the cynical skies,
heart that won't start and a head full of lies,

make believe,
starts to rot,
the story world,
you forgot,
whispering ears or a silence so cruel,
borrowing tears on eternal renewal.

you left me here, all whispering ears,
the shadowless Queendom that you used to rule,
sleeps in the deep 'neath a silence so cruel,
and I'm laying to rest,
the skipped beat in my breast,
and the hiss of my whispering ears

I'm writing on piano (well, a Bosendorfer Grand Piano present on Logic) as I've got a piano piece commission so I'm triallling ideas for that. Plus, tentatively getting used to the whole new world of possibilities of this DAW.
