Born in 1994 and beginning producing in 2013, Edward Bate aka @drshemp takes influences from the classic sounds of US and early UK garage, using a mixture of hardware, software and sampling in his productions. His first release was ‘Perfect Love’ on Pogo House Records, and he has since had releases on Rawsome Recordings, Frigo Vide Records, Plastik People Recordings, Snazzy Traxx and Hustler Trax. His tracks have been supported by Low Steppa, Mike Millrain, MJ Cole, ManooZ, DJ Sprinkles, Sidney Charles, Greco, Caspa, Lady Miss Kier and more.

Jack of all trades and apparent master of a fair few too, Paul P, has taken his label https://soundcloud.com/ofparadiserecords from strength to strength since its birth - putting together stellar releases from crowd (and our) favourites, such as Shedbug, Stratton, Baltra and Trudge. Pauls venture spawned from his original project https://soundcloud.com/dispatchagency from which his inbox was filling up with joints as well as DA's infamous mixes - if you don't know already, get to know! Wrapping up Pauls enviable set up is co-owned design agency 'Studio LP' which is responsible for OP's stunning and authentic visual aesthetic as well as some other lovely pieces - the man has really got this whole music thing down hasn't he..

Next up on our SR series we have a mix put together by the founder of Dublin Collective Get Busy who has been doing the rounds in Dublin over the last year with gigs in all of the major Dublin venues. This summer he ventured to Ibiza for a week jammed of gigs in Sankeys, Benimussa Park & Eden main room.

Oisin has a weekly Thursday residency in Farrier and Draper playing disco/funk and anything groovy as well as being a resident for Hidden Flux and Inbhir. He co-ran Grey Matter bringing over artists such as Demuja, Eliphino, Brassica and Terrence Parker, who may be making a return before the end of the year... Oisin's sound in this mix was inspired from his time spent in Beatstreet Records in Vancouver where he bought all the tracks you hear on this mix with the exception of 2 or 3.

For the next hour on SR Sessions we have Sputnik One with a combination of some of his favorite genres, mixing old school 90's and early 2000's tracks with more modern releases in house techno, acid and breaks , all the stuff that’s influencing his own tracks today. Sputnik is a part of the Inbhir DJ collective and has a few independent releases with tracks featured on Houseum, UK Funky and Definite Party material ,his latest track "Peach Emoji" was released by Stoop Dublin recently and will hopefully be getting released on vinyl in the new year.
