I wrote this song a few months into meeting the woman who is my wife today. She loves Audrey Hepburn, making me laugh, taking my breath away among many other things that make up my favorite person and inspire an "oooooeeee"!
This recording was probably done 6 or 7 years ago at my friend Mike's home studio.

Funny Face

I wrote this song after deciding to keep my friend Marona's contact info in my cell phone. She died at age 28 of treatment induced cancer. I recorded it last year in Wilmington as a demo of my music. 
Music heals me. Losing loved ones is not easy. I sing it, remember them and feel peace.

Your Number

My Uncle Mel inspired this arrangement a while back. He introduced the beginning chords to me and sent me on my way to complete it. 
I recorded this the same day in Wilmington as a handful of other songs for a demo cd at John's studio off Airlie road.

My Funny Valentine By L. Hart

I wrote this probably 9 years ago. It was inspired by a friend moving away and then the loss of a relationship with another friend. All is well with both friends. 

This was recorded at Eddie's Attic Open Mic Night in Decatur. As always, I was super nervous and I had a group of supportive friends there to cheer me on.

I wrote this for my wife.  She's always pushing me to record my music so I lured her into recording me for a youtube video that I wasn't really making. She stood over me holding my crap camera with no light/flash under a sky full of stars while I sat with my guitar in the gazebo shaking excitedly. I managed to get out the beginning and the end. Then i pulled the ring from my pocket. 
This take was recorded in Marietta at my friend Steve's home studio.
