Eyes Shut Open is an experiment of sounds accompanied by a lyrical freestyle.

 A song that represents, "I should open" to change, new things, and the unknown.

The lyrical content was inspired by the topic of rue poetry. The title for the song was heard by the vocalist when she was in a dream-like state, the state between sleepiness and wakefulness. A state that Salvador Dali often captured his creative ideas from.

"I awoke to the sound of a doorbell ringing in my home, I heard the words spoken clear as day, "Eyes Shut Open" and rose to find no one at the door. That was an impactful and odd  moment that had me wanting to utilize those words someway."-Susan
