In this hearty conversation Wim and Chris examine how modern society has lost its way through its angst-driven tendency towards constant comfort and control. This current has manifested itself in countless taboos, synthesized remedies, and prescriptions on things like diet and exercise. As a result, we’ve gotten out of sync with our animal nature, and forgotten that transient discomfort is a healthy, essential part of life.

Of course these two positive spirits also celebrate that our endogenous antidotes to fear, stress and trauma are still ever-present, locked away inside of us, waiting to be rekindled. The way forward is back to nature.
