I used to play this track many many years ago. Often to ease my mind and calm myself. And I played it a lot. Then, when things began to change, I forgot about it. Somehow I had this strange feeling that something deep from my heart got lost but I was never able to determine exactly what it was. Just a gleaming sadness from somewhere inside. 
Now, a couple of weeks ago I found a collection of old recordings back from these days and it was such a treasure, bringing tears to my eyes that I recorded this very track. It never had a name. As all of my tracks. But when I listened to it now this picture of a sunset came to my mind instantly. I reworked and recorded it to let you participate. Enjoy

As one of the founders of Japan’s drum & bass culture, Makoto is a man who needs little introduction. ‘Morning Sunrise’, is a majestic dose of drum & bass and is the team effort of Makoto, Danny Wheeler and G Force. It also brings in the vocal powerhouse Blu James, also known from the Basement Jaxx classic ‘Red Alert’.

Having gained respect for the quality of his music since the days of LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking Records, Makoto has gone from strength to strength with an impressive discography that includes seminal classics like ‘Golden Girl’ ft. Makoto - Kosa Ft. Keeno

Well it's been a while. Switching jobs last year i didn't have too much spare time on my hands. However being in quarantine and with little else to do as well as the recently released 90 day trial of ableton live 10, i binged through lots of tutorials learning new stuff every day i can manage to keep sitting in front of my PC after work. Still i have a lot to learn but during one of these sessions i managed to create a piece of drumset that i am pretty proud of and want to share with you. What else can i say? Drums are hard... but awesome if you manage to pull something off you can listen to without being annoyed after a few loops.
