episode 1 begins with william burroughs reading his "apocalypse" work, and segues into dialogue from the do lung bridge sequence from "apocalypse now" while tracks from aphex twin, spiritualized, and cat power form the bedrock of the mix. enjoy

I was approached by Dennis Mahoney to contribute to a Black Pig Liberation Front sonic scripture. Thurston Moore recorded raw feedback improvisations, and then a group of musicians were invited to add their own sounds to the noise. Each take i added to the track i was assigned to was a first take, completely improvised. This is an expression of the indeterminate music that Evan Nickles defined after hearing "Sister" by Sonic Youth. Evan was the owner of the store in Mystic, Connecticut that i worked at. He had attended Woodstock, and was fluent in "alternative rock".
