Skellboy

Since I always listen to hour-long synthwave playlists, I figured I could try to make my own. So I started a little side project that I call "CIRCLES", which will be a neat little playlist on all platforms to enjoy in the background!

This is my first track, taking baby steps in that genre. Please let me know what you think - I'm open for your feedback! :)

The challenge for me is to make a song that is not too irritating, yet complex enough to enjoy while doing other stuff. It's quite unusual for me to work on a track like that, so please hit me with suggestions and opinions! <3

Battle Against A Handsome Opponent

Yeah, not probably. Definitely final. Also awesome. Came up with the melody on the spot when given the challenge of a "Banjo-Kazooie like feel" for the overall soundtrack, with a main melody that gets used and/or referenced throughout the soundtrack. I loved it and created the complete version of the song in a mere 6 hours. Or was it 3 hours? Anyway, this melody serves the perfect purpose of being used in so many different ways.
Really love it.

I created this track while being live on Twitch. I thought others might be interested how a song is made with FamiTracker, so there I was, live and all.
I actually liked how this turned out. I tried to replicate the style of Banjo-Kazooie's Click Clock Wood (Autumn/Fall) and mix it with the melody of the other songs. Then I mixed in elements of both Skeleton Hop Clop and Grave Situations and this song came out.

This is my entry for the David Wise challenge for this weeks Music Weekly challenge! 
David Wise provided a MIDI of an 8-bit track he wrote, and I took and gave it a little spin as a Halloween themed type track. 

Imagine you're invited to a banquet at the castle belonging to the man himself, Dracula! This music would for sure play during the opening ceremony of this grand feast.
