As a result, he suffers a heart attack... but later wakes up on his couch believing it was his ex-partner who helped him. But it was "something special" that saved him... respecting an "agreement" the protagonist had in his childhood during a Christmas and which he has maintained... The ex-partner didn't help him after leaving him... she was too basic.
