I wrote this song just before the 2003 Invasion of Iraq by USA troops. Some of us here in New Zealand thought the Invasion would herald the beginning of the third world war . I am a pacifist and am greatly relieved that did not happen . The current situation in the Middle East and Europe in 2016 is similar and I am  releasing this song free. with another song  'Monkey court justice' (currently on sound cloud ) and a song recorded 2003 called 'For the sake of the children'   . These songs will be for sale in an album 'Acoustic Activist "  to be released in May 2016 later on my facebook website Madeleine Lane NZ music .   I have just had my driving licence revoked by the nz government transport agency (NZTA) on grounds of "possible medical conditions" requiring a psychiatrists and doctors report to be considered with regard to letting me drive again  . I am appealing this.   My Human Rights lawyer thinks it is unjustified as I have no driving convictions and am considered to be of sound mind . Musicians like us do not usually get put on commercial channels . we compose and perform for  world peace and I try to write songs with messages of hope  in them. Viva life !!   Madeleine Lane
