Gareth Blakey AKA Freeze UK was born Preston and now lives in Bournemouth. The DJ/producer was hugely influenced by 90s rave culture, not least by his 3 hard partying older sisters..! After swapping rave tapes at school, he left to work in Canada and the Netherlands before returning to the UK to produce and DJ full time. Counting the likes of Grooverider and Nicky Blackmarket as friends, over time he’s recorded for the legendary labels Suburban Base and V Recordings, where he worked closely with Jumping Jack Frost.

A fan of 90s rave, reggae and jungle in equal measure, Freeze UK presents it all in this storming EP.
‘Murderer’ is a beefy jungle roller, featuring the classy vocals of Miss Melody; the Brighton based singer, rapper and festival promoter (Bexfest) and the EP titel track is also sprinkled with the sounds of saxophone & guitar played by Bournemouth singer Jordan Digby.
 
‘Problem’ is a proper jungle runner - think Bladerunner at the peak of a set. Manchester based producer/DJ/singer and old friend Diligent Fingers supplies the rudebwoy vocals. No one is having a problem with this one. 
‘Reach For The Lasers’ is where Freeze takes us back to the 90s: classic piano riff, gorgeous breakbeats. White gloves and glo sticks out people!  Make sure the Murderer EP is on your summer playlist.

UK born, Jackson long (JHUNNA)  first started to gain attraction after he played at the Save Our Scene protest in London back in 2021.
 
At the young age of 21, he is the founder on one of the fastest moving dance music brands in the country- Homebass.
 
His sophisticated style of music ranges from jungle, garage and breakbeat which draws massive inspiration from the 90's. He brings back the euphoric soulful touch that the 21st century needs, with a mixture of New School.
 
From a very early age he has been around music with it being so big in the family, his uncle was Terry Hall from the Specials and his dad (Si Long) is an acid house vinyl DJ who owned the infamous Wobble nightclub in Birmingham back in the 1990's.
 
Ever since he picked up a pair of decks he was hooked into the music culture and began creating his own music and style.
