This is an original composition, recorded in two takes. The intention is to add some piano and light percussion but we can't get back in to the studio for a few weeks. So this will have to do for now. It's an incredibly personal song, reflecting the tumultuous summer of love that recently passed. It's a song of desperate realisation. Sometimes I can't complete singing it for the emotions it stirs up.

Always Been You [Demo]

Late night in the rehearsal room, a bottle of red wine down, I started reeling off the lyrics, Tommy (Kidknapped)came up with a riff and we ran through it a couple times. This is a very rough demo of what I hope will be a really nice finished product. The vocals are very 'late night' (flat after too many cigarettes) to say the least! This is the sad sequel to 'Always Been You'. No happy ending. Yet.

I Didn't Cry [Demo V1]

A solo acoustic 'in the bedroom' recording of Lynyrd Skynyrd's wonderful 70's classic balled 'Simple Man'. I love this song and I wanted to do it justice. Rather than the big, bombastic covers of this such as Shinedown's version (great live, by the way), I thought I'd try something a little bit different.

So I decided to write my own, saucy, tongue-in-cheek festive ditty. This is a one take acoustic demo but I'm hoping to have it fully recorded by the end of the month.
