Just before the February midterm, news was broken to pupils and parents at Cistercian College Roscrea that the school would not be opening past this term.

Tears and confusion followed - but before long a group came together to try to save the private boarding school.

Hundreds of people attended and I went along to find out how much the school means to them - and what the next step would be...
