Kuukou Records is a conduit through which Simina Grigoriu releases the sort of heavy, no- nonsense Techno that can be heard across her DJ sets. Previous releases have showcased producers from multiple nations whose work shares a functional commonality.
Next up is a single, one-hit punch from Italian producer Irregular Synth. Also known for his waspish selections, Irregular Synth has released on Grate Null, Dirty Mind and Nightlight and over the years has amassed an esteemed catalogue of brazen Techno.
His '777' is a rapid and militant track that will slot neatly into his sets, Simina Grigoriu's and myriad other DJs. A mid-heavy kick, brash 909 cymbals and a vehement sawtooth LFO are the key ingredients. A tense string and clever sequencing techniques work together to form an arresting production which is certain to inflict damage on the floor.
