This is a song about the crap that floats around society about what a strong man is and just generally the things that a lot of guys don't fit into or are unhealthy overall as a whole.

Sometimes it's hard to avoid getting down and hating on yourself, It's those moments where it's gonna take a shit-tonne of effort, time and experience to change them that give you definition.

I remember talking to a cool dude at a pub after doing an open mic, He has been through his own challenges in life and at the time we were relating to each other in our own way, The conversation was pretty good - supportive and interesting but the most interesting part about it was when he struck me with a one liner that instantly brought a feeling of self acceptance to me - a realization that a part of me has been suffocated and that part of me is amazing! I can't remember word for word but it went something like this - "You don't have to be anyone else, You're perfectly fine just the way you are, You can just be Karlin!". It caused me to visualize a part of myself being happy and free of the BS internal criticism that plays like a broken record..

This guy was struggling, I'm struggling and I know there are a lot of other guys struggling just to accept themselves as they are so if you're struggling what I'd like you to know is - Just be yourself, Do the things that make you happy and dood'.. Your juss' soow coowl!!  : D
