I like the way the piece develops here (around the 2.50 mark). Has a pensive majestic feel. Lovely.

A very old one! I didn't have a loop pedal, so used my trusted Behringer delay unit on very long repeats/feedback settings to create layers and layers of sounds, drones, melody,... to create this wall of sound - with some chaos in the middle!

Frozen Brain

Not everyone is on holiday, even in the heat of summer. Some still work while the city falls silent, stretched under a long, empty day. I can’t tell if the man expects something to happen; to me, it feels like nothing will happen today either. Anyway, everything's good.

This is the third in a series of eight easy, acoustic, rather short, and deliberately inconclusive tracks, assembled by combining new ideas with reworked older material, adding parts and sounds along the way.

I look back on this track fondly, as it reflects itself in the mirror with new gifts.

5 years ago I collaborated with dark electronic artist/vocalist INRGD.

She contributed her gorgeous ethereal vocals to music I had sent. Fellow producer Belial Pelegrim skillfully mixed her vocals perfectly to the material.

The result was the track “Eudiamonia”. This remains one of my favorite collaborations- the beauty and purity of INRGD’s vocals resonated deeply on this track, giving a near chilling emotive power.

By allowing this track to expose itself in reverse, I’ve found another level of emotion derived. Even more ghostly, almost that of a different realm altogether - yet equally intended to touch the soul.
