Forests You Hid from Me - James Bloom

JAMES BLOOM is an Alternative Indie Folk Singer/Songwriter based in and around Bedfordshire, England. James’ music paints a picture and takes the listener on an atmospheric journey. His choral vocals create a sense a space with lyrics that prompt thought and self-reflection. His use of ambient synth styles creates an appealing background of sound, which adds emphasis to his choral themes.
After experimenting with ambient synth styles, combined with traditional folk and indie undertones, James released his flagship song Omniscient in 2018, which featured on the Alexrainbird Autumn compilation. This brought James a wide variety of listeners across the world and greater exposure in the industry. This was followed up by his ambiguous and metaphoric EP titled ‘Shades of Wilderness’. James continued to develop this traditional folk and ambient electronics style, which became a focal feature of his second EP ‘Kingdom Sky’ released in 2019.
