Co-founder Rassan returns to the catalog in a five track EP of no-nonsense bass-heavy steppers, featuring a remix from Kyoto’s Stones Taro. 

Rassan kicks things off with ‘Saxon Dub’ uniting bass musics’ core elements with his own distinct flavor, as sprawling drums leak over the sweltering yet rhythmically placed bass line. ‘Slide ‘N’ Wine’ is a piece of screw-face-two-step that moves people from their seats, with fun heavily at its core; the type of track where approved looks are exchanged in the heat of the rallying club.

‘Up To No Good’ shuffles into the fore with bubble-gum vocal samples and rolling percussion before title track ‘Better Be Careful’ shuts things down with a frightening hair-raising slammer that should be used with caution.

One artist that knows how to make an impact is Stones Taro and since arriving on the scene with a string of productions on Scuffed Recordings to legendary UK label Hardline, Taro has cemented himself as one of the most exciting new names in dance music. Here he is on hand to remix ‘Saxon Dub’ lacing a chopped vocal sample over one of the best bass lines you’re likely to hear all year.

A staple of London club culture, Seoul-born Oh Annie Oh has become synonymous with high energy DJ sets that express her self-aware-but-playful persona with tons of attitude, seamlessly fusing curated club reworks, thumping kicks and sub-bass dives. With her debut EP, Block N Delete, Annie has taken the next step in her creative career. Released via Jamz Supernova’s Future Bounce label, the record chronicles the creation and destruction of a romantic relationship in the digital age and is a nonsense love letter to the club.  Fusing bass, techno and UKG, the four tracks immerses listeners into Annie’s euphoric brand of nihilism; encouraging listeners to dance through emotions at 4AM rather than doomscrolling alone at home.
