Baker, the southerner performing in Newcastle, impresses with his set, starting off with the beloved track Leftfield-Release the Pressure. His use of vinyl blends energises the crowd and his expression through music is a pleasure to witness. Hope you enjoy.

Maestro’s message: “Hi, I’m George and as a DJ my journey with music has taken me to parties, big club events, small club events, and festivals both as a DJ and a punter. However, collecting records over the last year or so has allowed me to fully refine and explore my favourite kinds of electronic music. Being able to play my records to a room full of mates is not something which is easy to do in Newcastle, with a limit of spaces equipped for records and good sounding tunes. This set is what, for me, collecting tunes is all about… playing nice music and seeing smiles all round. I hope whoever listens can enjoy the set as much as I had playing it xxx”

Leo Newcastle based DJ and artist setting the scene for this showcase. His untamed genre concoction gives a little inside the spirited personality that is Leo. With deep ties in and around the music scene of Newcastle he is a huge up and comer to keep an eye on in the next few years. 

His unique artistic style has been recognised and used by huge names like ‘Luke Una’. His crazy style again personifies the crazy and perplexing brain of his. When you have artistic individual who allow their creative passions diversity to whatever takes their fancy you know it’s going to be something that an audience is interested in. 

Maestro's message:“In terms of my influences, I have always been intrigued by the sounds of ragga music and the passion related with reggae, regarding the revolution in Jamaica. When it comes to dance music, the pirate radio scene has always been a big interest of mine, I have always wondered what it would be like to run a radio station and dj before the time of digital decks. I wish there was more of a garage scene up north and I am egar to bring the underground scene in Newcastle towards more raw styles of music like garage and jungle”

Downtempo, Reggae And House Mix w// Leo Marshall

Some says will relationship with Riccardo Villalobos is more than physical. I'd say if he's playing tunes like this he can fanboy over him as much as he likes. Will has been my best mate for as long as I can remember and i've never questioned that. Yet when he turned up for the set still yet to download his tunes onto his memory stick I was nervous. But again, never should have doubted him. I think in many ways this describes him perfectly. Naturally talented and an uncanny ability to pull a 3 hour set out the bag. Really impressed with the music on display and never thought I would conform to the modern day minimal cult of the underground scene but wills set definitely brought me a lot of enjoyment in the night and I hope it does for you too. 
 
Fiercely loyal to minimal culture. Minimal music. Minimal fashion. Minimal haircuts. It all just works! and I don't think he could of summed it up more than his maestro's message.

Minimal, Tech house mix w// Will Cameron

It’s a pleasure to present Pip’s justified passion set. It’s been a long time coming and stands as the first set of the just finished booking list. It’s been a stressful yet thrilling few months hosting these parties and all of them have been an absolute pleasure. Pips latest podcast set’s the scene for a no genre, all emotion set list. It’s all about high energy passion and compassion which tends itself to why this one was one of the best performances of the program. Everyone who attended this night knew it was a good one and I just want to extend a huge thanks towards them for being apart of it and to pip for being so amazing and understanding.

Maestro's message: "Hi, I’m PIP. My artistry draws inspiration from a diverse range of genres and people. The Newcastle scene has been an incredible place to grow, filled with talent and variety that has provided me with continuous love and support. I started DJing two years ago and have faced challenges in refining my sound due to my broad musical tastes. As a result, anything goes. In this mix, I’ve focused on electro, prog, house, techno, and trance—capturing because we love that sexy vibe."

Her blend of romantic tech and seductive sounds bring an emotionally charged thrill to the night and it was definitely projected in the set. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did.

Anderson. The audiophile that’s not afraid to show it. His passion for good sound and the tunes played on it has given him a new and up and coming aroma about him. His knowledge for speakers has created a pathway that I think will be one to keep an eye on. I’m Very excited to see what both him and his brand @apaudio have in store. 

The set produced is just a little showcase of such. Taking you through the genres and loving every minute of it. 

With Jays journey into the scene being its own rollercoaster affair: almost two years ago jay was confronted with a spinal stroke losing his ability to walk and work as an electrician he decided to devote his time to the things he was passionate about. MUSIC. I feel like in some ways this is why I started justified passion for life. Seeing people “just go for it” and spend their precious time into the things they’re passionate about. 

He can’t walk but HOLY FUCK can he mix. With his latest set sending the roof of Shy bairns.

Jazz, Electronic/ deep House w// Anderson

In recent weeks, this remarkable individual has exceeded all expectations in his dedication to the music and cultural landscape. He undertook a challenging ride from Manchester to Newcastle on a children's bicycle, aiming to raise funds and awareness for grassroots music venues that are increasingly struggling due to rising costs and insufficient government support (Ben on a bairns bike project). Ben made significant personal sacrifices, enduring arsehole discomfort and physical strain, to accomplish this extraordinary feat. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude; it was truly an incredible journey undertaken for a noble cause.

This set is a testament to his unwavering passion for music, offering a delightful blend of house tunes and positive vibes. 

Maestro’s message: ”First archived vinyl mix full of house heat I brought back from Amsterdam, considering this was slap bang in the middle of my finals so hadn’t touched my records in a month I’m happy with it. The wheels fall off a bit at the end because I didn’t know my collection well enough so couldn’t find any records to play. With this out I’m excited to release my next vinyl mix to see how far I’ve come on the wicky wackas in the last few months.”

Tones of extreme, refreshing vibrations. 
Never without his USB and never not prepared to drop absolute bangers.
Garbo’s DJ career has soaring lately with set up and down the country- From Liverpool, Manchester, and of course, the almighty Toon. His tunes speak volumes and always create a vibe. I gotta say I love this dude and proud to call him one of the boys.

Don’t mind the homeless man who takes a tumble at minute 58. Some say Garbo sent out a bassline so heavy that his knees couldn’t handle it, leaving him unable to regain full control of his lower extremities. Others say he drank too much. I know which one I believe.

He’s currently in south east Asia ‘finding himself’ but I guarantee the only thing he will be finding is a set of balls when he tries to cop a feel. You just know he’s getting amongst it…..The men I mean. But  in all seriousness I hope you’re having the time of your life out there and the memories you make last a lifetime! 
If there’s any parties/ promotions going on in Thailand I know this dude will have his USB.
