This Being the first release of Samaa Records, hence, it is named 'Earthstrong' which is a term closely tied to Rasta culture and a term for a birthday. 'Earthstrong' pronounced 'urt-strang' focuses on the principles of empowerment through words and sounds. While the word 'birthday' is literal, referring to the day of your birth, 'Earthstrong' alludes to the concept of cultivating a stronger connection with the earth each passing year, where earth means the international community.

Fuzulu is the psytrance project of Ehsan Kamran from Mumbai, India. This project is characterized by the night/twilight driving psychedelic sound and is known to be an out-n-out dancefloor smasher! Tejomaya - The Sanskrit word meaning 'Composed of the Akashic Material' - "subtle-gross etheric material" of any of seven kinds (called in ascending order chaya [shadow], dhuma [smoke], tejas [brilliance], jyotih. [light], vidyut [lightning] or varna [colour], agni [fire], and prakasa [radiance])

The Octopus is an extra-terrestrial on planet Earth.
It is by far the closest thing we have to an alien apart from man.
It's highly intelligent with nine brains, three hearts & blue blood!

Like the soundscapes we create, the octopus is somewhat out of place amongst its fellow earthlings.
Psychedelic music sound design is a way of channeling something "alien" into this world.
It allows for unique freedom of sonic expression
With this project, I focused on variety and versatility. Creating each track in a different light
or as a different "color" to keep it engaging and nonlinear. It showcases some of my favorite producers & good friends
bringing you new age psychedelic productions in a range of different styles & approaches.
