Welcome to our very first SoundCloud post, marking also the beginning of the Podcast series called PROUDLY MADE BY LOCALS (PMBLOCALS). This series is a celebration of the vibrant music scene in our beloved city of Brasov, where we will be showcasing special curated mixes and live recordings from both emerging talents and established artists that call Brasov their Home! ♡

To kick off this series, for 001 we are thrilled to have the most charismatic DJ/producer/digger/music enthusiast from our city right now, LUCA f. George. Born and raised in Brasov, Luca's journey in the electronic dance scene began at a young age, and we couldn't be prouder to have witnessed his evolution from being a regular attendee at our early parties back in the days to eventually becoming an integral part of the Unum crew (that we like to call our predecessors in Brasov) as a promoter and DJ, starting to leave his mark on the local electronic music community. So, his musical odyssey has been a gradual and captivating one, starting from the dancefloor and transitioning seamlessly to the DJ booth and it didn't take long for Luca to garner attention for his unique style and interpretation of electronic music with an adventurous spirit and a diverse musical repertoire.

What sets him apart is his fearless exploration of different music styles, demonstrating a refreshing and boundary-pushing approach. We think that Luca is bringing an exceptional blend of electronic music genres that can transport listeners to uncharted territories, where the familiar meets the unexpected. It's a thrilling journey that keeps the mind engaged and the body moving.

We are beyond excited to start our Podcast series with him and share his talent with all of you, as we believe that Luca's story and sound are truly emblematic to define our local music community in this moment of time and place in space 🪐 and this special recorded set for US is a true statement. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. ♡

For our second episode of PROUDLY MADE BY LOCALS we invited Dumitra, a remarkable young artist that has captivated our attention from the very first time we heard her playing and since has our full support. Dumitra has kind of an unique style of her own, blending different styles and fusing the old school with the new school.

She is definitely a rising talent in the underground electronic music scene from our lovely city. Hailing from Piatra Neamt, has found her home in Brasov many years ago and does not intend to leave it any soon. Her ambition knows no bounds when it comes to music, and she tirelessly dedicates herself to digging and bringing fresh, innovative sounds and releases together with the old school vibes to every party she graces with her presence. Known for her talent of crafting together infectious minimal grooves and electrifying electro rhythms, she seamlessly weaves in elements of old school acid house and breaks, creating an irresistible sonic journey that keeps you dancing all day or night.

Despite being relatively new to the scene, Dumitra has already earned the reputation of a true digger among her peers in Brasov and not only. Her ability to curate the perfect tracks for any occasion sets her apart, leaving audiences yearning for more of her captivating sets. With her unwavering dedication and exceptional talent, Dumitra is undoubtedly the next DJ from Brasov that everyone should keep a watchful eye on👁‍🗨.

As a BONUS treat, we have almost 1h of a really explosive 💥 back2back between our 001 and 002 guests - LUCA b2b DUMITRA, also recorded live at 3 Smoked Olives festival in Brasov. The two closed the Daytime stage on Sunday night 04/08/2024. A hot 🔥 ad-hoc back-to-back by our locals, despite the fact that they coincided with the set of Suciu at the Nighttime stage, the few people that were there enjoyed this a lot and were left eager to hear more of those two playing together in the future, US included 🪐.
