Champagne Diamond/The Brilliant Light - Rot, Get Soft ("Champagne Diamond/The Brilliant Light" LP - 2007)

Recorded by Billy Foster at Snap Studios and mastered by James Trevascus at Bakewell Audio, the song fuses intimate verses with big anthemic choruses, charting an internal monologue of the author battling with himself and ultimately choosing life over self-destructive behaviour:

To celebrate their releases, The Lunar Keys often put their little money where their big mouths are - in support of good causes. For example, ‘Silent Ricochet’ aided the arrival of 900 trees (and counting), whilst ‘Stop This’, ‘Oxygen Type’, ‘Once’ and ‘Maniac’ raised money for the charities Nordoff Robbins, Oxygen, TheTrussellTrust and the nurses at The Royal Surrey Hospital respectively. 

The release of BLEED will continue this Lunar tradition: Inspired by recent events and, well, the song’s title, the band pledges to donate £1 for each of the first 250 airplays or reviews that BLEED receives to the Haemophilia Society. So, if you like BLEED and are good enough to play it on your show, please let us know, so that we can up the tally and big you up on our socials. 

Thanks to great DJs like your good self, previous Lunar Keys releases have enjoyed over 5000 plays from more than 400 radio stations including Planet Rock, BBC Wales, Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing, where 5 of our singles enjoyed ‘Track of the Day’.

The Lunar Keys are 4 anxious types from Guildford (UK) with too many tunes and nervous energy trapped in their psyches not to be in this band. The band perfected its line up in February 2020 and have had a blast ever since, honing their craft and building a dedicated following.

Previous Lunar Keys releases have enjoyed hundreds of reviews and more than 535,000 views and streams.

Clear Coast consists of four musicians with various influences and backgrounds who share an ongoing drive in creating music. Blending vintage synths, dreamy guitars and catchy melodies, they created their own recognizable timbre. By self-producing all their music, they try to keep an intuitive approach and are inspired by the possibilities digital processes offer which is present in their live-shows as well. In 2022 they began to release the singles of their second album “Departure”, which will be fully released in summer 2023. It’s a voyage through different reflections of finding your place in today’s complexity.
