Ahead of his debut EP 'The Alpinist' out on meganesia in mid-may 2024 we are happy to host the deeply and diversely talented FDH from Naarm.

FDH is committed to incorporating the influences and sounds from those around him into both his productions and DJ sets. Guided by a passion for experimentation in DAWs, he delicately selects and weaves the results of sessions together to form the basis of his productions. Deep textures, driving rhythms, and contrasting elements are utilised by FDH in both his productions and DJ sets to yield engagement with listeners and audiences.
 
With a commitment to exploring new horizons and a deep love for the local dance music scene, FDH seeks to contribute to this ever-evolving landscape, whether it be through organising events, working on productions, or from the DJ booth.

Milana - AreaAudio 034

Milana explores the convergence of freetekno, electro, and warped breakbeat genres to weave her own forward-thinking sound. While her style tends to adapt with the environment, Milana's sets and productions are most commonly landmarked by genre-fluidity, polyrhythmic grooves, and quirky vocal samples.

In addition to music, Milana works closely with fellow artist and collaborator, Anne Trinh, on The Void - a nebulous interior design project creating dark, dream-like environments in unique event spaces. So far, they have worked with local collectives Endzeit, Club Moniker, and Agape to bring various iterations of this idea to life.

Milana also comprises half of the DJ duo TWINS ONLINE, a project focused on high-energy beats drawing from London's queer underground rave scene.

"I’m from Tallahassee Florida, I’m 24 and I’ve been producing for a little over 10 years and got into djing seriously around late 2022. I used to make lofi hip hop exclusively until around 2023 as well haha. I used to listen to a lot of trip hop, dubstep, ambient, jazz and other more mellow genres but I slowly fell in love with techno and house during the pandemic. The techno scene was also a bit more inviting to nonbinary folks like me. My biggest inspiration for how I play and produce at the moment is definitely Jasmine Infiniti, but with this mix in particular I was inspired by artists like Dj Rush, Jacobworld, and TYGAPAW. I used 3 decks as an experiment to see if I could pull it off haha.”
