I wrote this song a couple of years ago after one of those sunsets that just stops you in your tracks. I was sitting on my porch, watching the sky shift from warm golds to deep blues, and everything felt still—like the world was exhaling.

The tune kind of came to me in that moment, this slow, moody vibe that matched the feeling of the day fading away. It’s the quiet, bittersweet calm you get when something ends, but it’s okay because it’s making room for something new.

“Day Bleeds” is that moment in music form, and I hope it gives you the same kind of peace it gave me when I wrote it. Perfect for those times when you just need to sit back and let life flow.

Day Bleeds

This one’s for a memory that never actually happened, but somehow feels so real. “March 19” came from one of those moments where you’re caught in a wave of nostalgia—except you’re not even sure what you’re nostalgic for. It’s like flipping through old photos of a life you never lived, but you can still feel the warmth, the weight, the vibe of it all.

The song is all about that dreamlike haze: soft, familiar, a little bittersweet. It doesn’t need a story because it’s more about a feeling—like stepping into a day you think you remember but can’t quite place. It’s just vibes, pure and simple.

If you’ve ever felt a little homesick for a time or place that never existed, this one’s for you.

March 19 (Feat. Mr. John K)

This song started as an experiment—a creative challenge between me and a friend (Mr. John K) to see what we could come up with using a completely new method. The process was as much about discovery as it was about writing, and somewhere along the way, the concept of a star’s inner workings became the backbone of it all.

“Stellar Structure” is inspired by the layers of a star—the chaos and energy at its core, the balance that keeps it burning, and the way it radiates outward into the universe. We wanted to capture that idea musically, with sounds and patterns that build, collapse, and reform, like the life of a star itself.

It’s a little experimental, a little cosmic, and definitely one of the most unique things we’ve ever created. Think of it as a journey into the heart of something vast and unknowable, but also kind of beautiful.

Stellar Structure (feat Mr. John K)

This one has a special energy to it—“11-10” came from a place where time feels fluid, like certain moments overlap or stretch out longer than they should. It's like a snapshot of all those fleeting thoughts and feelings that hit you in the quiet spaces.

The song has this layered vibe, almost like flipping through old journals or hearing fragments of conversations you’ve forgotten but still feel. It’s about that strange connection to moments you can’t quite explain—maybe they’re memories, maybe just echoes of something you thought you’d lost.

“11-10” is that late-night kind of introspection, where time feels like it’s standing still and racing ahead all at once. Play it when you’re in your head, looking for something you can’t name but know is out there.

I started making this song last night. I have this wah pedal that is turning into one of my favorite things to have along with my guitar and it's sitting there not getting any love so I decided to work on something and this is the result of what came from it. Peace

i was waiting for a call to leave for work this morning. about thirty minutes prior to receiving that call i laid down this track. trying to make a habit of this over the next few weeks so that I can put together an album of these songs. the goal would be to start uploading them all as one album on youtube for my channel. thanks for putting your ear to this. peace.

i was helping my dad lay some tile at a jobsite yesterday. it involved lifting some awkwardly shaped boxes and they were not the easiest thing to lift up. it resulted in that feeling where your body is basically stiff and you can't move. and it hit me like hours later and then all through today i was feeling it. but then i stayed at home and made this track. i know the description has nothing to do with the song, but i just felt like it was a piece of my life to put out there and connect to this experience. i've even thrown around the idea of capturing some footage of the process of layign tile and creating some sort of music video to go along with it. any who hope you enjoy this with your little weird things on the side of your head that you call "ears". peace

my wah pedal has been squeaky lately and i’ve been trying to make music in the morning without anyone hearing and that squeaky ass wah pedal is messing it up.  so as a result i decided on a more chill song hoping that i could do like a slow wah and nah i just gave up. luckily my dad helped me with a can of wd-40 so i’m about to be back in the early morning wah pedal game. anyways take care.

got my wah pedal back and made this happen this morning. pretty happy with putting this together within one session. learning a ton with each song as i go on and getting faster. man this is a chill one. music like this feels like you're on a camels back making you're way through the desert being carried along. anyways hope you enjoy this one.

hey its jake again, back with the next track. its my sixth track of the album and i guess that means i'm about half way through the thing? pretty sweet. i've been using the descriptions as journal entries as of recently and i don't know if thats a good approach but its what i'm going with. hopefully someone gets a kick out of going through the album and see where i was at in that moment as i was working through the process of this album. anyways its saturday! that means there's time to get started on the next track perhaps? or maybe pass out and take a nap. who knows tune in next time to find out!!

[10:00am] Happy monday everybody. i'm off to work but i'll be back to share more in a bit. 

[3:01pm] Okay, I'm back now. Here with another early morning made jam. As you can tell I'm trying my best to keep the vibes nice and low even though I'm wearing my headphones I still like to make sure I'm not playing the strings too loud, and that usually results in some more chill vibes. As you can tell later in the song it starts to build up as we get later in the morning ;) Kinda funny how that works out. Not too many pay attention to how large the of an impact the environment has on the creation process. Even something as simple as I don't want to make too much noise, but I still want to create has implications in the output.

[9:16pm] finished watching the tom green documentary with my mom earlier this evening and it was really good. i recommend checking it out when you can! it's a really inspiring story that tom has and he has a lot of passion for his craft always working toward his goals. i hope you get to check it out. but yeah anyways i started another track this afternoon and i'm digging it. the 10th song of the series is a great checkpoint so to speak. my goal is to get to atleast 30 minutes so i have a couple of more tracks to go. thanks for following along on the journey. peace - jake

i had a good time puttin this one together. it's one of those that kind of fell right out all easy like. kinda how like all that stuff falls out of my taco when i goto take a bite. i'm trying not to judge the output too much, but at the same time i'm getting bother by the humming/buzzing sound of the guitar amps so that has caused me to learn more about EQ and i'm trying my best to remove that but still learning. apart of the whole process and gives me something new to do. other than that i'm still feeling like i'm in the flow with putting these together. 

i'm currently working on putting together my first album using only guitar and this track puts me at around 27 minutes total of the album. my goal is to reach 30 minutes so that means i'm about one track from my goal. pretty exciting stuff.
