In these days in which the family is so much under attack, Christian families can turn to the Holy Family of Nazareth to find inspiration and strength to fulfil their vital role.

In 2018 Pope Francis gave the Church the new feast of Mary, Mother of the Church, to be celebrated on the Monday after Pentecost. In this meditation we consider Scriptural texts on Our Lady as Mother of the Church, texts of Fathers of the Church and Popes, the proclamation of the title by Pope Paul VI in 1964, the new image of Mary, Mother of the Church in St Peter's Square, and we entrust all the faithful to Our Lady under this title.
