Pareidolia is an audio-visual electronic project, designed to immerse you in a
collision of dub and techno. Deconstructed, extended mixes, will plunge you into
hypnotic, bass driven atmospheres, re-interpreted and presented in a surreal world.

Sam Peacock, an electronic artist from the north east of England, collaborates with
filmmaker William Keam to craft abstract visuals exploring the opposing shades of
light and dark within the surrounding environment of the Midlands.

With influences spanning from the Detroit techno scene combined with Jamaican
dub mixing techniques, Sam eschews dub-techno tropes, opting for a more
immediate sound. The resulting effect is a modernized and hybridised interpretation
of club music. 

This work induces an abstract psychoacoustic experience placing the listener somewhere between a distant memory or a possible future, throwing the
listener into a state of Lynchian escapism.
