I've never really viewed myself as particularly talented, where I excel is ridiculous, sickening, work-ethic. At the end of your feelings is nothing, but at the end of every principal is a promise. Some of you in your life, the reason why you're not at your goal right now cause you're just all about your feelings. You all on your feelings, you don't feel like waking up. Who does? Everyday you say no to your dreams, you might be pushing your dreams back a whole 6 months, a whole year, that one single day, that one day you didn't get up could've pushed your stuff back I don't know how long. Those days when I'm tired or worn out, or just sick of the grind. What do I do on those days? I go anyways. I get it done, even if I'm just going through the motions, I go through the motions. You need to get things done. Doesn't matter how tired you are, doesn't matter how beat down your body is, doesn't matter how mentally, physically or spiritually drained you are, you don't think about it, you just know it's something that has to be done. Just like you breathe, it's just a part of your being. You just show up. 99% of the game is won when you just show up. I don't really wanna work out? I work out. I really don't wanna hammer on a project? I hammer on the project. Don't really wanna get up and get out of bed? I get up and get out of bed. Don't give in to the immediate gratification that is whispering in your ear. The desire to take the downhill path, the easy path. Shut that down. Do not listen to that little voice. Instead, go through the motions. Lift the weights, sprint the hill, work on the project, get out of bed. You've gotta execute. You've gotta get stuff done. Less talk, more do. Less discussion, more execution. Less complacency, more creativity. Less busyness, more production. Less ego, more results. And by simply going through the motions, you stayed on the righteous path, the discipline path, which is right where you know that you belong.
