Johnnie Davis aka "The Music Programmer" began DJing at age 13. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, he perfected his skills by mentoring under some of the greatest DJs out today. His influences are Merlin Bobb, Tony Humphries, Naeem Johnson, Jihad Muhamamd and Joe Clausell. He partnered with Jihad Muhammad in 2000 to create "The Movement" which was one of the hottest soulful house events in the northeast. Today, he resides in Charlotte, NC and makes special guest appearances while still making music.
