@tim-reaper, Cameo Blush, System Olympia and Eliza Rose are among an impressive list of artists to remix tracks from @waywarduk’s debut LP ‘Waiting For The World ’.

The album was released earlier this year on Silver Bear Recordings and was an ode to pioneering genres that shaped the London duo's musical identity - jungle, drum 'n' bass, rave, breaks, garage, techno, and the many sub genres of house. 

‘Waiting For The World Remixed’ sees 10 cutting edge established and emerging artists that Wayward have admired in recent years reimagine the music, while retaining the influences that permeated the original record.

Wayward explains - “It was important for the remixes to reflect the broad spectrum of genres that influenced the album, and we're really pleased to have achieved this. From Tim Reaper’s jungle remix to Tour-Marbourg’s stripped down, dubby, balearic remix, and all the different styles in between, it’s given us the opportunity to shout about artists who are just starting their careers, as well as the more established ones that we really admire - all of which are pushing the
boundaries and taking electronic music to an exciting place.”

NC4K is a Kyoto based label, run by Stones Taro, Lomax and Pee. J Anderson. Their 26th release “Mirrorcode” by Sekitova & isagen will be out on 9th December.
“Mirrorcode” is a nostalgic breakbeats house with aggressive sound, representing their love for classic Japanese games and their inspiration from music which affect them.

And this release includes seven remixes by talented Japanese producers(Stones Taro, Lomax, Pee. J Anderson, blackglassG, khatru, in the blue shirt and RYOKO2000).

Enigmatic Italian house connoisseurs Quasar and Cristo join the Lost Palms catalogue with a 4-track collaboration which touches base at tech house, deep house and all the flavours in between. Bursting onto the scene in 2017 with the widely-recognised ‘Lovesongs’ EPs, Quasar has since been perfecting his craft. His collaboration with Cristo sees the two depart somewhat from the lofi sensibilities which have characterised their music so far, instead favouring a harder-hitting and more diverse sound destined for the club.

Kicking things off is big-room banger ‘Ginga’, propelled by a fierce tech house beat and assertive arpeggios. ‘Non Ce Ne Importa Piu’ takes things down a notch, paying homage to the respective antecedents of each producer’s musical career with a lofi quality and a hypnotic melody. Euphoric piano stabs and diva-esque vocals power the hands-in-the-air sunshine slammer ‘(It's) Over’ before ‘Good For You’ takes things deep, closing the EP on a cool tone and proving the duo’s versatility.

Based in London, U.K. Third Place Records aren’t your typical electronic music label. They specialize in what they like to call “curious dance music”, this ranges everywhere from breakbeat to jungle to leftfield house and beyond. For the second installment of their Third Place Dance Discs series they’ve called upon Stones Taro, a House & Breaks Producer and DJ from Kyoto, Japan. Stones Taro is deeply dedicated to furthering the house music scene in Kyoto, as he runs a house collective named “NC4K” (No Collar 4 Kicks) in his hometown with fellow DJ & Producer Lo-max.

“Full Train / Light On The Hill” is a two track EP that marks Stones Taro’s first vinyl release. The Kyoto native flexes his production chops over the two tracks, expertly layering rhythms, and dazzlingly lush ambient instrumentals. Stones Taro’s sampling of exotic birds on the first track, and the vocal sample he uniquely uses on the second track ensure that his EP perfectly fits the curious dance music aesthetic of Third Place Records. This is physically engaging and mentally stimulating electronic music unlike anything else you’ll hear.
