Supérieur goes for round two after its relaunch in autumn last year. Some of you might be surprised that we're breaking up with the single release concept of having one original and one remix, but we believe the time has come to do so. Supérieur will be more independent in the future, with an own artist roaster and also with a different sound than the one deliver with Connaisseur. This release is by the highly respected South German producer and Dj Hans Thalau, partisan of the techno soul approach, which was celebrated for years by Russ Gabriel and his Ferox Recordings crew. It comes as no suprise that Hans and Russ are friends. Hans' “Soul Adventure EP” is a timeless affair. Three tracks full of emotional deepness and classiness, and probably Thal Communications mastermind best works so far. During Kris Baha's migration north, an introduction with Berlin cult figure, Gareth Owen aka Dane//Close has led to Power Station's latest offering and debut mini LP "The Miniature Industrial Complex". Originally released on limited cassette via Noisekolln tapes, the LP brilliantly displays the ex-Sameheads resident's appetite for all things wave, industrial and weird, with an eye firmly to the floor.
Not part of the original cassette release, "Beard" premiered here maintains the energy, wild guitar shreds in a neurotic ritmo frenzy - Alan Vega crossing into 2016 dance floors faintly comes to mind.

Hugo Gerani’s Esplore EP advances the producer’s freewheeling and supercasual house sound under this particular alias. It is true ‘club music’ in its constant allusion to social interactions and environs, with all the spice and intrigue of chance encounters and missed connections. The showstopper is ‘She’s Lying (Roe St On the Fone Mix)’, which, true to its name, channels the boisterous and insouciant late night activity its namesake is known for. A perfectly broiled and basted club tune and a regional classic. Elsewhere, the producer exhibits the godshot melody and low-end polish fans are familiar with from 2015 hit ‘Freeze Action (Desire)’. ‘Esplore, Liek Music!’ and its shorter companion are organic and effusive, blinking with sensorial curiosities and vocal suggestions. ‘Take You No Bro’ borrows elements from longform halcyon Scandinavian techno, stark and bright like the desert at dawn, and never losing focus for its almost ten minute run.
