The boy who climbed the viaduct
fell into a train
So happened he fell into a car of hay
He just went ahead and slept all that day
The train it took him far so far far away
He lost his mama and his dog
He lost his bike, his best friend John
He found a job at a broken farm
He brushed the horse and swept the barn
The man who kept him gave him a gun
Said hunt me a deer or a squirrel
I don't care, just hungry for some wild meat today
He tried to aim that gun towards a poor rabbit's head
And tears ran down into his neck
He ran from the farm and fled
He left the gun in a field of flowers
He ran till he reached the sea
And that is were he met sweet sweet Tony
She said, be my friend boy
I'm just so tired and weak
And so he did and so he did
He kissed her on the cheek
And in a few years a baby was made
as juicy as pudding and pie
They named their baby Bunny Train 
and they loved her by and by.

(Story about my grandfather, as told by my grandmother in her rocking chair)

Boy preacher had grown to a man
He wanted to bring you God's hand
Boy preacher was in a white suit
There at the train station, a soldier he saw
One of the many leaving for war
The soldier was there with his girl
They wanted to marry before he went
The soldier said is there a preacher man?
Boy preacher was shaking but he raised his hand
He held out his Bible and he spoke holy words
No veil on her head, no flower girl
Before the train made its sorrowful call
He married the couple in the minutes there
The people were watching
They cheered and they cried
Boy preacher hoped he lived 'til he himself died.

Jenny's wisp of a house had too many lawn ornaments, gnomes and fairies and saints were there against oak trees and crumbling stairs, the dandelions grew in between wind chimes of butterflies hanging from trees, toadstools, duck families, lions and cherubs, many holiday sculptures were there, piled one on top of the other, jolly santas and wicked ones, terrible angels as well as sweet, witches and pumpkins and goblins who laughed, they pressed on the window, their eyes staring back, the many ornaments embarrassed the girl, on rainy days when her mama was still she'd steal an ornament, throw it away, but after the day her mama was gone she wished that she still had every one, she saw that the ornaments meant to protect her like an army like a shield, she cried oh mama I'm sorry for throwing them away they should have stayed they should have stayed oh mama oh mama they should have stayed, she cried oh mama oh mama oh mama I'm sorry for throwing them away your lawn ornaments they should have stayed they should have stayed they should have stayed.
