Tell me, please, what kind of nostalgia can there be when you are young? It's nonsense! At this age, you can only enjoy life...
38 years have passed since I wrote this piece, and now it has finally become a "reminiscence" itself, justifying its pompous name :))) Today I performed it in a new way, significantly reworking the nuances of dynamics and tempo. I hope you like it.

A haunting exploration of memory, loss, and the eternal echo of love that transcends time. This atmospheric piece weaves together delicate piano melodies, sweeping strings, and intimate vocals to create a sonic landscape where grief transforms into gentle acceptance.

The song speaks to the universal experience of carrying someone's memory through simply speaking their name. It suggests that while time may separate us from those we've lost, their essence lives on in the very syllables we once spoke with love.

Sometimes you feel like you belong to another place. A remote place in which you find out positive emotions and marvelous people; maybe an interesting and surprising person. I think about the Mediterranean while writing these words. An island is capable of enclosing all this meaning, a little spot full of dreams and strong vibes.

This piece has been composed during the confinement experienced in Spain due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic.

SWR1 und seinen Marcello. Arbeitet gerne mit der
Nachbarschaftshilfe „gemeinsam“ zusammen.

Die Musik von Peter Maffay, Smokie, Mark Knopfler  und Queen hat mich schon immer begleitet und fasziniert. Ich entdecke gerade die klassische Musik für mich….. und mache immer weiter ..
