When the world stands still

"Dear Evan Hansen" is one of my very favorite musicals. Here I have arranged the devastating "Requiem" for solo piano in the virtuosic style of Golden-Age pianists such as Vladimir Horowitz, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Earl Wild.

Hold You Hand

This piano work seamlessly integrates elements and material derived from the concerto for saxophone quartet and orchestra, commissioned from the composer in collaboration with the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Orquestra Sinfònica del Vallés and the Kebyart, thanks to the funding provided by Becas Barcelona Crea of the Institut de Cultura of the Council of Barcelona. By reimagining and reinterpreting this material, the composition offers a new perspective on material featured on one of the concerto's movements. 

It is a composition inspired by the captivating and enigmatic experience of driving around the Carrer del Tibidabo viewpoint in Barcelona, on a serene summer night. This evocative piece seeks to encapsulate the beauty, inspiration, reflection, and magic of this panoramic setting, where one can witness the dazzling nocturnal lights of the vibrant city of Barcelona below.

The piece is suited for performers in the previous years of college-level study, as well as professionals and pianists seeking an entry point to contemporary piano music. The difficulty of the music strike a balance that makes it accessible while still providing a rewarding challenge. It serves as a perfect introduction to the nuances of modern piano composition, offering performers an opportunity to explore new techniques within a comprehensible musical language.

Nachbarschaftshilfe „gemeinsam“ zusammen.

Die Musik von Peter Maffay, Smokie, Mark Knopfler  und Queen hat mich schon immer begleitet und fasziniert. Ich entdecke gerade die klassische Musik für mich….. und mache immer weiter ..
