The ‘Chronicles 24’ artwork displays a photograph of a pair of jellyfish, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Jellyfish come in a variety of types, from the massive Lion’s Mane jellyfish with tentacles over 100 feet long to the tiny, nearly invisible Irukandji, each with unique adaptations suited to their environment. By studying these diverse species, scientists can learn about efficient swimming mechanics, bio-luminescence, and even advanced healing processes, as jellyfish possess remarkable regenerative abilities. Additionally, some jellyfish, like the Turritopsis dohrnii, exhibit biological immortality, offering insights into aging and cellular regeneration that could have implications for human health research. We had a beautifully chaotic December with barely a moment for any music in and amongst family time and celebration, including Hilton's birthday.

In it all we did manage to make time to finalise and release our new track 'See Through You', the 10th release on our label Ionica Audio and our last release of 2024. It is a bit of an outlier, a fusion of genres; house vocals, garage drums, prog synths and a skippy music box lead, that takes influence from all the music we love, to make something that we think is quite unique.

One of the most emotional movie soundtracks there is even though the film was released 25 years ago. There's probably a million remixes made already, but I had to create a version that I can play in my sets. Went with a very classic trance route with this with the emphasis on the melody, choirs and vocals of Lisa. Didn't want to rush it either, so I hope enjoy this super extended trancey version!

Summer Melody welcomes with another new and uprising artist to the label, Russia-based Roman Babanov with a 2-track EP with Airplane and Open Air!

A relatively new name for Summer Melody, yet Roman has been releasing during 2010s in labels such as Vendace Records, D.Max Recordings and BOX4JOY, mainly in progressive house and trance.
