The debut album of the Russian-French band Otchim, whose members Anton Berezin (Wolfstream, Seven Knives) and Jordi Sorder (Order89) have never seen each other in real life. But the distance between St. Petersburg and Paris does not prevent them from creating songs based on the European new wave heritage.
The debut album on Sierpien Records includes 8 songs with a typical French narrative: stories about love and death, dancing, nightlife and alcohol romance. The recording process took place simultaneously in two studios: Anton was responsible for the instrumental component, and Jordi wrote lyrics and recorded vocal parts. The title of the release, “The Club of Memories,” according to Jordi, draws a parallel between musical compositions and a photo album, which stores memorable stories from life that can not be forgotten.
This autumn Otchim awaits the release of a new EP on Spain-based Periphylla Records.

She falls down  into a dark prostration, which takes her away very deeply. In the depth of substance she makes her way, falls many times, with each moment it is harder to rise, but the desire to fight outweighs. Estrangement from the world swallows, sadness burns her , and disappointment pulls only deeper down. In the darkness, she still tries to continue radiating her usual Light to others, but It began to go out quickly. She goes till the end, hung with layered injuries, soaked in aggression on herself from the fact that for so long she can not find the way out. Desire and perseverance are growing. Faith is strengthened. The feeling of coming out from the black side of the mind  is nearby, but often it was deceptive. Now it's true. Through the crumpled darkness, a familiar Light indescribably breaks through, she recognizes It. Reaching for It. It’s with her. She's in the end. Not believing in it, she stopped and looked back. Thanking this dark and difficult path, she went forward, already continuously emitting her Light, which people so missed.

And "she" is me.
