What a better way to close 2022 than with a gift from the Greek talented producer, Stiko. He is now back on DHAthens with an amazing rework to "Space Cadet", a song released back in 1994 by the American rock band Kyuss but which still remains gold and timeless. Got it around the amazing bass line, Stiko added some extra houzy rhythm sections, a few sample chops from the guitar plus a few parts of sampled bass. Josh on the monster bass
Tez ripping the guitar rhythm and leads
Ken pounding out the beatz and 
JJ making it pretty with those keys. 
I was able to work in the solo in the second half and, with the help of K2 Ken get out a solid production with a nice mix and master.   I believe Tez may have added a bit as well to the post production. 

Basically it was really a true group effort.   Josh is really good with keeping things group focused and having the whole band work within his idea and vision for a song and yet still having the ability to contribute your own unique sounds.

Another fun time with a great group!

This is a re-imagining/redux of an original song written way back in 1985. It was a signature song for an LA band I was in at the time called The Program. Originally written as a straight ahead rock tune, the funky and catchy bass pattern was the central component of the song. This new arrangement and recording maintains that original bass pattern and vibe, but definitely takes the tune into completely new realms! Enjoy!
