Influences:  Where to start. So many artists from the UK (Spiritually, I'm from Bristol) such as Burial, The KLF, Autechre, Hessle Audio,  Mary Anne Hobbs, M.I.A., the OGs from Detroit, the amazingly talented & diverse community surrounding me here in BK, ballroom culture, my background as a classical ballet dancer, the disco & new wave my parents raised me on, Mutha Earth

Affiliations/Residencies/Projects: I throw parties called Techno Casa (but not limited to techno by any means!). They're a fun time, very tongue in cheek. I also have a residency on Hong Kong Community Radio- my show is called Personas123. It originally began as a platform for me to showcase my "club unready" selections but lately I have been inviting other AAPI/POC Guest DJs to do whatever they want with the 60 min slot :) (S/O the HKCR team <3)

Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community: If you reach a point where you find yourself focusing your energy towards that which negates who you are, your joy, or your peace, it's ok to create space for yourself to recalibrate, work on your craft, and meditate on things. After all, we're here for the music, aren't we?

About the mix: A while back, I thought my laptop was dying. It started to glitch in a very abnormal way, making very strange sounds, and I totally panicked because I had not backed my data up. My laptop turned out to be fine but this mix is a conceptual exploration of a computer breaking down, gaining sentience, and ultimately, reaching computer nirvana, giving "machine learning" a whole new meaning.
