The Lord Jesus Christ is a Shepherd, the Great Shepherd who is eternal, and thus, Almighty.  He is not only able to sovereignly guide His sheep, but to provide for them in a manner that is clearly of Him.  He will not fail those who are his, nor will He ever forsake them.  Our trust is in this Blessed Shepherd who proved His love for us on Calvary's cross.

To believe wholly in Christ for salvation is to know the reality, and certainty of peace with God, and eternity in His blessed presence, where there is fullness of joy.

It is a joyful, worshipful, and glorious song as it lifts up, and exalts the Eternal Redeemer who endured the cross to pay for the sins of men, that they might be forgiven, and know eternal life.

God's message to man for the salvation of his soul is the gospel of Christ. It is that message of God's righteousness, man's sinfulness and lostness, and the great work of Christ on the cross to redeem men from his slavery to sin and death. This is good news, the very powerful means according to the truth, by which men can be saved, and receive eternal life.

God never makes a mistake, nor is He late or early.  He is the God of all circumstances, whether in them we meet up with suffering, sorrow, or inexpressible joy and peace. In them all, He is determined to make of us men and women of faith, by which we can come to know Him in an ever-increasingly way. Personal trust in a Person is the key to knowing God.

The Gospel of Christ is a more than a roadmap giving mankind direction to find and know God. It is the very extension of God's mercy to man, stretching forth His hand, to seize that of lost, and dying men, that they should be pulled from the waves of death and destruction, to know Life eternal in Christ. God then makes of those redeemed, saved sinners, vessels of honor.

By virtue of the indwelling Spirit, and the objective word of God in the Scriptures, the true believer in Christ can know something of the mind of Christ, think his thoughts, and live by His faith. May the mind of Christ dwell in us day by day, and this, increasingly so.
