Inspired by the culinary concept, this EP embraces the metaphor of "jambalaya" a mix of diverse elements, ideas, and emotions. Just as the dish combines ingredients in a harmonious chaos, the tracks blend genres, instruments, rhythms, and moods seamlessly together. Crafted meticulously, the jambalaya EP takes listeners on a journey through a diverse musical landscape, surprises with unexpected twists and combinations. Im so happy to finally share with you my latest EP 'Idiom' out now on Merkaba Music. Comprising of field recordings taken from south America, South-East Asia and other parts of the world, it takes the listener on a spacious journey through downtempo rhythms, dubby bass and world music with a progressive feel. 
Idiom (meaning a characteristic mode of expression in music or art) delivers textured synthetic and organic instruments, fused together with Rute's iconic broken beat, uplifting, bass laden grooves, provoking imagery of shimmering rivers flowing through the vast rainforests and that which inhabits it. 
While providing a balanced contrast between the dark murky depths and the ethereal light within, Idiom is sure to breathe a captivating atmosphere into the present, inside and out.

Fold In

Collective Conscious' is a seven-track Album from Chilean artist, Dejalum, exploring the realms of Psybass, Psydub, Glitch Hop, and breakbeat rhythms. This piece contains some flutes and sax recordings and extensive sound design development. Each track is a universe by itself and without a doubt you can decorate part of your time by letting the bass, intricate rhythms, and melodies float your body.

The initial idea for this track started in Israel, more than 2 years ago, it lived with me in Portugal, traveled with me to the US and was finalized in Goa (India).
I played versions of it at Tipper&Friends (Rendezvous), Infrasound Festival, The Blackbox, Psy-Jelly (my first ever gig with a live flute, Bristol UK), Ozora Festival, Desert Bass Festival and more..
It took its time to unfold to get to its current state, the final seal was the intro I made while staying in Goa, I had the right atmosphere and my Bansuri flutes with me, and that was it.
I feel it is like that with any type of creation, it unfolds on its own when u take the right steps, each creation takes its own path and time frame to unfold and hopefully in the end it makes some souls (and bodies) dance when its ripe. 🌟

Drawing from years of sonic exploration and shaped by travels across the globe, 'Memory Trails' marks a pivotal moment in MantisMash’s musical evolution. Blending lush psydub atmospheres with nods to classic dub, breakbeat, and drum & bass, 'Memory Trails' offers a vivid and expansive experience firmly tuned to the modern dance floor. Surging basslines, shimmering textures, and finely-tuned rhythms flow seamlessly across the album's nine tracks, balancing technical precision with MantisMash's signature sense of play. From the organic warmth of "Echofluid" and saturated echoes of "Behind the Thunder," to the deep DnB grooves of "BeatJunx" and "Reflekt," the album pushes the boundaries of psychedelic bass music while remaining deeply connected to its roots.
 
Richly detailed and alive with a sense of movement, 'Memory Trails' signals the next chapter in a journey shaped by travel, performance, and the ever-shifting landscapes of the musical world.
