Farceb, DJ y productor nacido en Buenos Aires, con una carrera consolidada de más de una década asociado al sonido techno. Su música refleja una combinación de influencias tanto de la vieja como de la nueva escuela, lo que le permite transmitir diversas atmósferas y sensaciones en sus producciones y sets.

Su trabajo ha sido interpretado por reconocidos artistas nacionales e internacionales como Oscar Mulero, Jonas Kopp, Pfirter, Antigone, Shlomo, Lewis Fautzi, Kwartz, Matrixxman, Cleric, Ben Klock, Exium y DVS1, entre otros.

En 2013, Farceb hizo su debut en el icónico club Cocoliche de Buenos Aires junto a Oscar Mulero (PoleGroup), una de las figuras más importantes de la escena techno mundial. Un año más tarde, en 2014, formó parte del nuevo label argentino Orióni, donde editó su primer track en vinilo. Desde entonces, ha lanzado música en destacados sellos como MindTrip, ARTS y Polegroup.

En los últimos años, ha expandido su background incursionando en la creación de música experimental y ambient para proyectos de danza contemporánea en Alemania. Barker & Baumecker take Turns from techno, bass, breaks, and experimental terrain with their second album on Ostgut Ton.

Sam Barker and Andreas Baumecker’s lives have always revolved around different kinds of music. That’s partly why their productions as Barker & Baumecker are more unpredictable, harder to pin down than what you might expect from a label borne out of a techno club. And while their music is clearly built for dancing, listening to it reveals a deep love and respect for many forms of electronic music – bonding over more experimental dance forms is what brought them together in the first place. Imagining their music at any decent club, but disrupting the flow on the floor is what brings us to their second album Turns. An amalgamation of their unique musical minds, transcending electronic music genres and styles, while further developing and refining the Barker & Baumecker sound aesthetic.

For this pre-listening playlist, to give a better impression of the lengthy album tracks, we skipped through different parts of the songs (beginning, middle and end) and edited the samples into these single sound clips, condensing the up to 13:50 min long tracks (Statik) into 2:00 to 3:00 min edits.
