Closer To Me is the first instalment from the upcoming album from King Shi. A combination of Downtempo and Hip Hop infused with Soul and Funk elements. The rolling break shuffles and sways throughout as a warm and saturated bass line bumps from kick to snare. Strings layer and whirl through the leads as they’re dubbed with keys and additional strings that swell and accentuate the established melodies. This is King Shi doing what he does best: making immersive Downtempo beats.

Kabanjak´s moody song "Sapphire" begins with a melancholic guitar intro that is merging into a sluggish downbeat, typically for Kabanjak´s music.

As soon as the drums and bass kick in, we hear floating strings, a sparkling glockenspiel as Kabanjak continues to add more and more mystical sounds along the way of the song.

In the End arpeggiated synths and chopped blues vocals replace the guitars and finally everything breaks down into a beautiful outro without ever touching the ground.

In Persian Lore it was believed that the sapphire´s reflection gave the sky it´s blue color, which is a perfect image for Kabanjak´s song.

"Blue" in the sense of feeling down but also giving a glimpse of hope and positivity.

2nd single of PACHANGA LP! I am happy to announce that on July 14 will be released "PACHANGA", an 8-track LP where I mixed Latin music and Hip-Hop! Another work of immersion for me, in order to capture the essence of a musical style and to try to restore it with my modest talents as a composer. An enriching experience that will have taught me a little more on the long road that is the world of composition.So I invite you for a musical journey with stops in Colombia, Brazil, and Venezuela!

For this occasion the label S1X Music with whom I have been working for a few years now will publish the project in digital, but also in VINYL!!!!!
See you on July 14 for the release!
But until then two singles will give you a taste of the project!
"Pachanga", the eponymous title of this project will be published on all platforms during the day (Friday, June 16) and a second single should be released at the end of the month!
After all these years, this is the first time that one of my albums will be released in vinyl format, so I'm counting on you to grab the cake and support this physical project, because if it goes well, it might there are more in the future!
