Buried Secrets

Hi there friends and Listeners 😀

As illio & i have no vocalist yet, I always find it more difficult to find appropriate names for our improvs than to just let the music flow.  But... in any case, here's our latest piano and guitar improvisation, 'Winds n Waves*'

It begins with eerie night winds whistling through the trees in the moments before dawn... and then proceeds to stir up the waves in the bay, creating a surf that eventually bears down on the shoreline, as a new day is born.

I'm playing my ES7 Stage Piano and illio is on his classical guitar. And as usual we're recording with just our little stereo Zoom mic.

sometimes it feels like I'm going round in circles again
and when the train stops moving, will i get there in the end
sometimes it feels like I'm the only one who knows
and the look on your face it shows, disappointment again
it's just what goes on in my head

trying to hold back the anger the sadness and tears
it's a comfort sometimes they been holding my hand now for years
laugh without smiling when you need to fit in with the crowd
get out when its getting to loud, eyes on the exit instead
it's just what goes on in my head

life's better than nothing when nothing is all that you got
some shelter from the storm, it's not to much to ask is it not
have i turned away, from a neighbour in need
who committed some terrible deed, cos of something i said
the things that go on in my head

Wer hier "moderne" Musik erwartet oder gar einfordert, muss sie anderen Ortes suchen. Ich fühle mich ganz und gar der romantischen Musikausrichtung des 19. Jahrhunderts verpflichtet und versuche ihr wieder Leben einzuhauchen.
Oder auf Englisch:
I see myself in the continuation of classical traditions and try to create music in the style of romantic composers of the 19. century. So I regret to let miss any modern style or understanding of present tastes... look for them please at other places. 
Like an old saw, all is already said, but not by everyone.
