For our fourth entry, I am delighted to feature Utrecht-based Safari Stanga. With a combined 11 years of experience in DJing and producing, he, by all accounts, knows his way around the decks. His musical vision can be summarized by his own quote: “Listening to music should not always have to be a serious endeavor, and I hope to bring some of that excitement and joy to all who listen in!” With this, it is clear that he aims to keep you entertained and focused throughout all his mixes.

Safari has crafted his innovative and irreverent style, inspired by classical music, hip-hop, Brazilian funk, video games and movies soundtracks. He always keeps his audience engaged by creating an energetic experience through jamming with multiple decks and blending rhythmic techno, electro, and house melodies. In this mix, you can expect a range of sounds, from snappy breaks to mechanical kicks combined with bright melodies and dark percussions.

When I saw Safari DJing, his recklessness and simultaneous control of multiple decks and mash-ups on the fly inspired me to start incorporating a third deck and samples into my DJ routines. It is clear that DJing is not only his hobby but a real passion that will soon go beyond that.

Based between Milan and Geneva, DJ and producer Maura Loe is making a name for herself in the electronic music scene. Her excellent club performances granted her access to prestigious festivals such as Montreux Jazz Festival and Electron, various popular online streamings and a residency for the Club Selectors radio show on RTS’s Couleur3 (Swiss National Radio).

Her taste encompasses old school and modern, with an inclination towards trance, techno, progressive trance and hard house, and a track selection brilliantly blended with acid textures and psychedelic elements. She has a particular affinity for extended sets that enable her to craft a music story, with tempos spanning from 90 to 150 bpm, comfortably moving among different moods and rhythms. With her energetic sets, she ensures that emotions stay at the forefront, a trait that also echoes through her music productions.

We launch our rocket number 057 by the expert hands of Tensal, three pieces of direct to the floor operational techno, faster, heavier and darker than the previous outcome by Héctor.

On A side, first cut is Civil Defense, sharp continuous sequences showing up right from the beginning, solid kicks and a memorable break. This one is gone make some damage in sound systems out there.

B1 Collapse, again starting with no remorse, white noises, distorted textures, heavy sub bass action and hi speed tempos, another to the bone exercise.

B2 Is Bihotxak, solid grooves, percussive panned details, on a linear and tooly arrangement excellent for long mixes and build-ups.
