Merry Christmas from Project Zeus!

We've been super excited about this one - with a mix for 4TheWax already under his belt, JTS has played stellar sets at various nights all over Oxford and Exeter, and as such we had to get him to lay down an hour of tunes for us. In his own words:

'After A Tribe Called Quest released their final album and founding member Phife Dawg passed away, a tribute mix is all too fitting. A Tribute Called Quest winds its way through the band's back catalogue, including some rarities, remixes and feature collaborations with close affiliates Busta Rhymes, De La Soul, The Jungle Brothers and Leaders of The New School.

RIP Phife Dawg.'

Mix Series, Ep. VIII: Minimix - Val [Glue]

Our latest in the series is an ambient narrative about an aquapiggy who has been living his life disguised as a human.

Straying from the sounds of conversation and droning aircraft, our hero is tempted to the water's edge by the sounds of gushing streams, the whirring and clicking of small insects. Entranced, he edges towards the dark wet shimmeries, slowly submerging himself and returning to the crystalline beauty of the cavernous, subaquatic world he had long left behind.

His descent, however, is cruelly short-lived. Disturbed by the sounds of the human world, of mechanical groans and children's voices, our hero floats quietly back upwards to civilisation, leaving behind forever the beautiful, underwater world he once called home.


Just over 40 minutes of subaquatic, ambient music from Streams of Carlos. Featuring music from the likes of Analogue Attic Recordings, Silver Lake, Silent Season, Mood Hut & more. Might be nice to listen to whilst studying, or sleeping. Or in the bath!
